It states in the article how they did it. They used the same block as the current 70 -90 engines. That's why it is the same weight as your 70's

Yeah, I thought that was what made Suzuki's DF100A so sweet, was the 2L block and lean burn boasting some nice fuel figures and outstanding torque. Will be good to see the reports non the less.
