    Fishing the Top end

    G'day guys,
I'm chasing some info about fishing the top end, I want to go around the Melbourne winter months July / August and I want to catch some Barra's, as its a bucket list trip. 3 days of fishing and staying at a lodge that can supply grog as well.
I've looked on line and Clearwater stands out a bit, but what else is there, that's reasonably priced and has great fishing for that time of the year.
Can anyone point me in a few directions?

    Cheers
    Russ

I did it for a week up at shady camp, stayed at the bark hut inn. We just opted for donga accommodation because we were up before the sun and didn't return till night. Out all day every day.
But the Inn has great pub meals.
If you want fancy accommodations there's a resort not far from the camp on the Mary river.
We went in the run off period about April though.
    Cheers and have fun.

I've fished Corroboree billabong but that was only a day trip from Darwin https://www.google.com.au/maps/place....6358789?hl=en.

I've heard this lot are good http://barralodge.com.au

The Bark Hut was closed when we went up there at Easter this year.
