Saturday had a look for Tilapia at a pond near Wellington Point before going to the Twilight makers markets at Cleveland. All I could manage was one small mullet after seeing huge Tilapia. Fish would not take a bait with a hook in it yet gulping down anything else thrown in the water. Then a guy came down and caught 4 nice mullet on the other side of the weir to take home and eat.
Sunday a quick early morning fish off Redcliffe for squid. Found it very hard going possibly due to the water being quite green and cloudy and not as clear as it has been. Still ended up with 3 nice Tigers for the table tonight.

Well done Rainbow runner. Here was my solo catch, not much but a feed

1-4ft deep, rocky gravel weedbeds all around Redcliffe, decent jigs, yamashita or fish candy, around low tide, I get squid but still a lot of casting involved, and lots of weed on jigs.Originally Posted by masonrigging

A mate and I hit the passage on Sunday for a flatty flick for a change. Here's the result

I went out wed. Got a feed of whiting front nudgee. Not big. Then gotba flattie on way home under bridge at clontarf. Satur looks good so over to the rous i go
