    Preferred braid to swivel knot

    Yep, three or four to pick from which look n feel sound but am wandering from others experience which stands the test the best for Big Fish with pulling power??.

    Ho about no swivel, just tie braid to leader with a double-uni...fool proof

    I've always used the improved clinch knot for braid and mono.
    Very simple and I've had no issues with it.

    Palomar for braid to terminals works for me.

    Palomar for braid to swivel or fg if no swivel for braid to leader.

    Never tie direct myself. Always an FG in mid range to heavy gear or a slim beauty in the light stuff to a shock leader and then to whatever terminal tackle

    Thanks for the replies gang, yes do use the Fg for braid to mono n was just wandering which was the preferred to a swivel.
    Do like the improved polar but find a tad hard to pull up with some of the braids which aren't coated.
    Been playing around with clinched, uni n polar to date.

    Palomar knot but if you have a bimini twist in your braid just feed the end through the swivel, open up the bimini then fip the swivel through a couple of times and pull tight.
