Thread: Where to catch whiting in the bay?

Where to catch whiting in the bay?

I'm thinking of taking the kids for a spin on Sunday to chase some whiting but seeing as they are not my usual target species I haven't got the faintest idea on where to go.

I know the Rouse and the sand hills seem to be the places everyone chases them but what am I looking for over there?

    Anyone pointers would be appreciated.

    Cheers in advance.

At the moment they are thick and good quality at the Little Ships channel. They are in the deeper water in the channel but stop and drift anywhere and you should see a decent feed. Look for the clumps of ten million boats if you like as well. Peeled prawns are the go (of course yabbies are always number one if you can get them).
