Land based around Jacobs well

Hi all
Thinking of driving from Toowoomba to throw some special, around the Jacobs well area. Anyone recommend any friendly areas I can walk safely flicking.

Follow the road past the boat ramp SE along the waterfront there about 500 m and you can get access to the water and there is a little creek there also. Worth a shot.

Not sure how soft the mud is but the yabby beds to the north of the cabbage tree point boat ramp should hold a few flat ones.
