Got to be happy with that mate..well done
Weather prediction was for blowing hard in the morning ( that didn't happen) and then dropping out in the afternoon (also didn't happen - only thing that did was the fish) but it was at a guess a solid 10 -15 all day so it wasn't flat by any means but it wasn't unfishable either - it did keep everyone away though - only saw one other boat all day and there was no one at the ramp in the morning . Fished a range of country east of lookout for a mixed bag of pretty colours for the table - nothing exceptional in size just good table fish - 21 in total with the bite slowing to almost a stop once the tide turned around midday. With the sea anchor holding bottom with 10 ounces was a pretty straight forward exercise and the Amity "gutter" was a cake walk as far as a crossing was concerned with the southerly swell direction.

Cheers mate. Turned out alright in the end. Had one on board that was crook but with the right "encouragement" (floaties were mentioned at some stage during the day) he sucked it up and soldiered on. You got your new toy yet?
