Big step up from a permatrim..

It's interesting to see any hull design/improvements like the stepped hull and hydrofoils etc that come from computer aided designs and with cheaper manufacturing and the rising running costs that push for better fuel efficiency.
The asymetrical single engine cat is one I thought would be more popular.

I see issues with stepped hulls and cats. Where do you mount the transducer, lol. But a foil out the back looks interesting. It would create a fair bit of lift at the transom. Would it be practicle as an add on or would it be more a design from the bottom up?

Not a lot new in the world of fishing and boating, most of it is recycled ideas that are tweaked or applied in a diferent way. We have been doing it for a long time, so it's not surprising.
