Thread: Lowrance HDS7 gen3 issue

    Re: Lowrance HDS7 gen3 issue

I called Lowrance and a fella was very helpful and got me to do a "Hard Reset" I took it out the lake and still had the lines, if not worse. After getting home I decided to rule out a few things and disconnected everything from the batteries and connected the lowrance to it's own separate 12v battery and could see that the lines where still visible. I have since emailed lowrance again and they asked for serial numbers and some pics of the mounting set up on the transom which I've supplied in a return email. I think they'll replace the unit which is great, just a pain in the arse to refit it all. I'll touch base again with an outcome, so far the service has been very good.
