Hello all,
I realise that the old HDI-7 Elite CHIRP has no networking capabilities as such, but according to Lowrance, it has " waypoint sharing" via its NMEA2000 port. The S2009 has an option for send or receive waypoints--does this mean that, if I enter a waypoint on the S2009, it will be automatically shared to the HDI if linked via the NMEA2000 ports? Could it work as trackback does on the HDI, where you can enter a waypoint via a cursor on the echo sounder screen?
