    tings at rouse

    out the small ships channel about 5-40am today with mate, had 1 grinner and a pesty reefy caught by 8am

    whiting started biting at 8am, ended up with 70 whiting, biggest 31cm, others average or bit better size

    where were you Seahorse {Greg}

    just squid strips, and shallow water, 6-10 ft

    Hey Robin, good going mate. I was at mud catching undersize, cod,snapper,parrot,sweetlip.

    I should had come over. I was thinking of it at one stage.

    i got a message from mate that he and his wife bagged out at the sandhills yesterday, they got there at 6-30am, the whiting didn't come on the bite till 9-30, so you just have to keep looking to find them

    Its just a long run to sandhills to get nothing. It is hit and miss. Where have they all gone.

    Apparentnly getting them around the cockle banks .

    Going to give the whiting a go on Friday.

    Great day on the bay but failed to find the whiting schools.
    Only got 15 average size.
    Bonus was a 6 kilo tuna on light gear that we chased for 15 minutes.
    Almost spooled me several times.
