If after all that research you still cant separate them and money is an issue for you then just get the cheapest one. Not sure anyone can add any more than that.
hey gang.... i know its all been done before and at the end of the day these 2 motors are not to different in there power etc..
but please even if it seems trivial can you tell me why youd pick one over the other if you have any experience/knowledge of these 2 motors..
i have read review after review,,, asked dealers questions,, and trolled internet for info..
it may seem small and trivial but this will be my last 2 stroke with the ban on 2 strokes not far away and it will be my 1 and only engine for the next 10 years (poor me) cant afford another...
so anything you got for me would be awesome..
thanks gang..
ill be somewhere up the creek, happy trails..

The yammie grey colour will probably look better over time then black.
I'd go yamaha, purely as there are more 15hp two stroke yamahas for spare parts than Suzuki.

yeah true as... ive thought about it and researched it and to tell you the truth i could roll a dice and take what wins at this stage lol there about the same price and if they wernet ending 2 strokes id grab one now and buy next one the other...sounds silly i know but just thought id ask some1 elses opinion..

What happened to the Tohatsu ????
Yamaha for my money between the two.
scottar you are just as sharp as a blade lol you forget nothing.. i only said a couple of times nearly a year ago that i had a tohy 18... no alsimers in your dna..
the tohy will most likely be sold as its so heavy to lug around.. but thanks for the yammie vote, i am leaning towards it as it has been proven over a long time..

I've got the Suzuki dt15a, it kicks ass, 33kg.
I wanted a Yamaha, but picked up a new Suzuki cheap, I'm actually glad I didn't get a Yamaha now!
