    Lowrance elite 7 problem

    Hey everyone. I have bought a second hand boat with a Lowrance elite 7 sounder/GPS. The sonar works well when the boat is at rest or moving slowly. As soon as boat speed exceeds about 5 kph then I lose both the depth and the sounder image. Any suggestions re what the problem might be and how it might be fixed? Thanks for your thoughts

    Most likely transducer installation. Photos may help.
