    Wide Cal 17-5-17

Been to long since the boat has been wet, so took a sickie on Wednesday and went out to wide cal.
The snapper were in plague proportions, with our bag on the ice before the sun was even up.

Vaught a released anther 20 or so fish, before trying to track some some different species. Only managed a couple of parrot.

great at day out, also catching the biggest cuttlefish I have ever seen.

    Thanks
    Rob

I was impressed at "with our bag on the ice before the sun was even up", but that cuttlefish is a ripper. I would have got big credits for bringing that home, even more so than the snapper!

Nothing a bath in some milk wouldn't fix (with any luck). The little ones are great eating but don't they make a bloody mess when you clean them. If you hit the ink sack in something that size I reckon it might be like Mr Bean painting with dynamite.

Hi spiro, I fished wide of wide caloundra, 100m area on Thursday and never got a squire. Not an undersized fish, nothing. Plenty of pearlies but. I am glad I am not the only person that's not catching snaps.
    Cheers
