    sinkers or not...?

    I'd like to fish as light as possible , but have consistent 4/5k current running...used 16oz lead last time out, was impossible to keep the bait down..any suggestions ?

    Downrigger with a long drop back

    big lead is the only way your going to get a bait near the bottom in that sport of a current.

    Are you fishing rubble grounds or bommies?

    fishing rubble grounds ric...80m...current was ripping last time out...even when we came in closer to 50m on the sand was almost 4.5..Rob.

    was afraid you'd say that Feral..thanks...sort of new that would be the only way to stay on the bottom..Rob

    If your using a paternoster rig use only one bait but the trace about 1.5 meters long.
