that prawns not ripe yet.....leave it on the tree a bit longer
Went out Friday night on a mates boat after having a few fishless trips of late.
Launched at pinkenba amd went and got some bait from the chute, only small herring around which wasn't ideal but better then nothing.
Changed spots a couple of times but around midnight managed to get 2 threadies both took live herring.
One of the threadies had a slight disability.... he didn't put up much of a fight but still a fish.
On a side note, does anyone know what name the smaller green prawn goes by?

You didn't see Blinky while you were out there did you? Interesting things around the sewer outfall.
Haha, interestingly the fish and the prawns were all not caught at the chute which may come as a shock.....
I looked at the pictures before reading the story and assumed the green one was a soft plastic/lure of some sort.
The bung tailed one looks to be in good nick despite the damage.
That Nuclear Power Plant has some questions to answer - Bright green prawns and twisted threadies. Did the prawn Glow in the Dark????

The one with the funny tail actually had more food in its stomach than the bigger normal one.
At least the green prawn didn't have white spot, would be pretty noticable if it did! Green prawn was also released....
