    1770 day charter

Just had a weeks family holiday at 1770 and didn't take the boat, so did a day charter with Hooked on 1770. Turned out to be a top day, both weather and fishing wise. This is a good value charter imho, the skipper works hard to put you on the fish. We ranged from around the outer wides to the back of Fitzroy and came home with a great haul.

It's not a 5 star, luxury operation, but great value and old mate is very determined to put fish in the box. Well worth it.

Some good chewing there - and no boat cleaning to boot.

As mentioned in the OP, the skipper Damo works hard to get you onto the fish. He will pull anchor and move if decent fish aren't onboard after about ten minutes. Would be the best day charter I have been on.
