Lowrance has come out again just in time for Christmas with its new Lowrance elite 9ti and Lowrance Elite 12ti. growing the elite Ti range from its current 5 and 7" models.
The new 9 and 12" feature all the same goodness you would expect in the feature swollen Ti range, Touch/ buttons. 10htz GPS antenna, mapping choices galore, Structure scan, down scan. CHIRP. Nmea2k interfacing.
obviously targeting some new toys announced by Garmin and Humminbird in the last few weeks, The elite 9/12Ti are heading into battle in the new war for "affordable box ticking systems" or ABTS as its known....by me....
so what do i make of these systems?
well obviously a bit early to tell but you can scope out a theory this early by the success the smaller systems have enjoyed "maybe not the 5" as much as the 7" " but with that success in tow, i think these 9 and 12" systems will be seen on many a boat.
