GPS marks or advice for fishing Yeppoon area

Hi, I’m positing to see if anyone can help me out with some advice for fishing around the Yeppoon area.

I’m in Brisbane and heading up to Yeppoon and was hoping to do some fishing while in the area.

If the weather is kind to us I’d like to try a couple of days of fishing for areas within 60 klm of Yeppoon. My boat is a 6.6m whittley and is quite capable offshore.

Any advice or a couple of marks would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to be in the same boat... but without a boat. I'm heading up to Yeppoon in a couple of weeks and would like to do some fishing. All I can see for boat hire is the Causeway lake boat hire, but that wouldn't get you out anywhere. I'll probably still have a go at that, but does anyone have any advice/tips for someone who can't bring a boat as checked luggage with Qantas?
