    Canvas boat cover Waterproofing

    Hi Guys,

Im looking for a product to re-waterproof my boat cover, the cover is about 3 years old and still in good condition, but is leaching a fine blue powder....which i assume is the canvas breaking down over time in the sun....i have given it a good wash and there is no more leaching...at the moment.

Can anyone suggest a product that is suitable to repel water and also protect from the sun.

    Cheers in advance.

    Steve

Try the camping stores for a water repellant.

Aquaproof is one I have used. 5L bottle. Seals up the seams and lasts a long time. Does get a little white look about it if you apply it too heavy though. So follow directions.

Is it canvas or sunbrella material?
