"New" to site and would like some advise on where to go with our tinny

    Hi everyone,

Moved to the gold coast from Sydney about 5 months ago and enjoying fishing land based. I am looking at possibly getting a 4.2 tinny and would like some advice on where I can go. I know where the seaway is.... but no idea what I can chase there or any recommendations off shore for this sized tinny.

Any help / guidance would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Try up the nerang river in summer late in the arvo mate plenty of trevally and jacks if you hunt hard enough . Tip one from me , try the canal system behind the casino up to lake Intrepid and Lake Rumrunner . Matt
A bad days fishing has got to be better than any day at work......

Bitisbitis.......there is a name for a long time ago from other forums.
Plenty of options around the Goldie......plenty of rock walls, jetties, moorings and pontoons to keep a guy busy for a few months.
Plenty of big whiting to be had around the council chambers area......generally bigger models are at night on blood worms or mud worms.
    Jack.
