I have been trying one out that my neighbour has recently purchased . He is so new to owning a boat that he he is yet to get a boat licence which is interesting.
It has a 150 Merc on the back and seems to bog the bum down at slower speeds
I suspect Lenco or similar trim tabs could assist to lift the back. Although it is rated at 6.4 the last .6 m or so does not seem to aid to bum lift
Perhaps a foil on the motor might assist too.
The motor on the neighbours boat could also be a tad low too
The bitter end of the warp had no dead eye in the anchor well to secure the end of the warp. Not ideal either.
The boat was supplied with too little anchor chain and the warp it came with would have been better used for tying up xmas presents IMHO (Since replaced with 12mm silver that one can at least haul without too much trouble)
The boat seems dry enough and runs reasonably given the initial setup. Probably could be improved as indicated above.
Cheers
