fish finder for up to 150mts deep

I am looking at getting a fish finder that can sound to 150mts deep. Currently have a garmin 750s but just want to use it as chart plotter only as split screen just doesn't do it good enough. Have been looking at the furuno 628 but have heard that the 600w transducer will struggle at defining fish at that depth.
Any thoughts, ideas or other options out there? Was hoping to limit it to $2000.00 or a good 2nd hand unit.

Yep, FURUNO is the way to go or SIMRAD if you have the money!
