Lowrance - SOFTWARE UPDATES
so a big few days for Lowrance releasing a tonne of new software versions for its popular units. very interested in seeing how the bluetooth protocol gets utilized.
Updating is fairly easy but you are always welcome to bring your unit into Moose Marine and i will update for free whilst you wait in store-Moose
HDS-GEN3 = VERSION 4.0 : This new version brings Mercury vessel view link intergration Cmap "Easy routing" and Navioncis "autorouting" as well as Navicos new network analyser.

HDS-GEN2 TOUCH = VERSION 6.0 : this version brings both the auto routing and easy routing from the big mapping companies as well as Mercury Vessel view link integration but no network analyser

Hey mate, thought I'd fire up the new hds 12 gen 3 I bought to do new update, has the 3.5 version I think but nothing come up to update so I went in to settings then about to find if update available but nothing is coming up even tho it hasn't got the recent update! Using the wireless connection to do it! Should I try old school and download on a sd card?
