Getting ready to go to Cape York. We leave on Saturday morning 25th..
With all the rain they have had we are expecting quite a damp trip. Should be good fun.
Doing all the usual,a bit of camping, fishing perhaps an ale or three. No boat this time but maybe a charter or two.

I went up last year and hired a boat for a day at New Mapoon just outside Seisa. Price was good and boat set-up was ideal for 2 people. 14ft stessco with casting deck and electric. Had an absolute ball fishing the jacky jacky system and I highly recommend it if you have time. Check out bully's boat hire if your interested.

Just got back. Had a great time. Did all the tracks bar the creb, it was still shut didn't get to do alot of fishing as I was called back early. Bummer. The only thing was that we took alot of recovery gear and didn't use any of it.,even at gunshot. Highlight would definitely be Thursday Island.
