Ignored the weather forcast today after watching the wind drop this morning and shot out across the northern bay about 10am, Saw a few longtail around but no takers, Got some nice live pike on the baitjigs and sent them down on the drift, A legal snapper was the first to come aboard but thrown back, then very quiet for a while until Dave gets a nice estuary cod and then a huge snapper. Not to be outdone I had a squid follow a live bait up so I sent it down with a hook in it and about a minute later got an even bigger cod.
Turned out a great day.
