Hey, when people mention the sand hills, is that just south of shark spit over on Moreton (sth of Tangaloma), that shallow bay near the 4 beacons? Or where?
    Been wondering a while.....

Haven't tried the Harries side banks yet but I can confirm there are some absolute horse sized whiting in the Rous at the moment.
    Not thick, but monsters.

    Re: Whiting reports wanted

Did a quick trip yesterday to the Rous with my young fella, put half a dozen solid 27cm Whiting in the box soon as we started then they just disappeared. This is our worst performance for Whiting fishing for a while.

The perfect conditions made up for it though..
