    Mate I don't personally use them but yes they would work 100% IMO.... I say that because they act as a scrap bit of bait when your down to the last bit of bait on your hook. So when you have had a good hit and loose your bait the fish will still be interested cause there's still more on offer. So I recon they are good especially if your fishing smaller baits like mullet or hussar fillets And when trying to fish through the pickers there's still bait on offer for the larger predators to come in and have a crack..

    The poor Buttler filleted all day and only did the cod and a few red throats... Lol.. I looked in the esky and still had over 55 reds, nannys & trout... Lol... Plus snapper Pearlies Spaniard and jobbies.... He stitched me up big time I was filleting last Friday night until 2.30am Saturday morning... Now he's filleting every trip now until he can fillet...
