ID:	112849Cant help much. Sunshine Coast has been a bit erratic. A few fish are around, but often not in the same spots on consecutive days. All the usual haunts, but none reliably. Also a few days they have been deep rather than up high.

Sorry not much help, but we chase them pretty enthusiastically, and its been a bit harder this year than the past few. Unbelievable losses to sharks of late.Attachment 112842

Got one at curtain this morning and he had two mates with him that wouldn't play the game.

Trolled hard bodies and dead pike off point lookout yesterday morning until 1030 for nothing.. Saw one boat hook up but not sure if they landed it.

Spanish at Curtain?? Do they really show up here so far inside the bay?
Caught two today between Flinders and Hutchies.

Spanish are still erratic, scarce one day and good the next (sometimes). Had a mate up from Victoria last week who wanted his first Spanish.
We caught plenty of schoolies and spotties , then had a double hookup on a big Longtail and a few moments later, a much bigger Black Marlin. The Tuna headed for Brisbane and the Marlin headed for Noosa at the same time, chaos, and at one stage I reckon the two fish were over 700m apart and still going. No chance of stopping the Marlin as it was BIG and no leader etc, so it broke off and we chased down the longtail eventually.

Next day was rougher so stayed in close in sheltered waters still trying for a Spanish. Reel screams then Click image for larger version.

119cm Queenfish on a live yakka in about 12m of water. Quick photo and released.
Mate went home last Friday with a few good fish photos, but no Spanish.
Went out Mothers day, rough as early, and had a triple hook up, schoolie on the downrigger, and a good spotty and a Spaniard on livies up high. Put the lines back out and a double hook up on SpaniardsClick image for larger version.
