    Offshore Brissy today 9/4

A couple from offshore Moreton today.
Started the day 5am at the ramp, crossed the bar as the sun started to come up.
Livies were thick at the bait grounds, caught a few fish early this morning and then it shut down an stayed down.
Was a nice day out but not a lot of catching

    Good work.

just wondering, were the livies at the bait grounds slimies or yakkas?
Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....

Good snapper that one. What depth have you been fishing. We got this catch on the 33's and 35's today. Was slow going also and not much run out there.

Plastics fantastic but bait is better.

Nah mate, all on pillies. Mostly on the bottom and only a couple float lining. Threw a few just legal fish back to grow bigger for another day.

I have the same outboard and very happy with the results however I have no information from other boats to benchmark against
Could you please share same figures from your experience
    - size of boat/weight
    - prop size?
    - cruising speed/rpm/fuel
    - wot speed/rpm

    Many thanks

I think it was your boat (plus another white boat (?), make unknown/can't recall) fishing toward the bottom end of the 29's on Sat morning Almako. We pulled up just north of you (in a 685). If not, a very similar black CC. Nice day on the water, pity the fish were not on the chew so much.
    Cheers
    Brendon
