Trout fishing around Glen Innes/Northern N.S.W

I live in QLD and would really like to go trout fishing.I have done some basic research,lots more to do.

Maybe some people here might be able to help out with suggestions of where to go and stay.I will be traveling from Blackbutt
so its a long drive to get to the New England area.I would stay around 6/7 days.

[Out-Station]

Glen Innes is hit and miss (to far west and off the range). Ebor/Dorrigo is where you need to be. Dec, Jan best fishing.

I've stayed here 3 times. It's fantastic with lots of stocked trout to catch. Nice winter get away. The fire is soooo hot we've had to open all the doors and windows to cool the place down in zero degree weather.
