Dare we hope for this weekend...
It's been 6 months of utter crap. I'm glad i upgraded to the cat or i'd never get out. Even with the twin hulls i'm fishing the close reefs and coming back with a few knocks and bruises. Talking to a mate who's been fishing here for the last 15 years, he reckons this is by far the worst year he's ever seen, talking about selling up his rig for some golf clubs
Dare we hope for this weekend...

I'm up and getting ready for the rouse, tings and squid aplenty, hopefully
What a beautiful morning today!!!! --- Darn I wish the weekend was like this!
Keen to hear how Crunchy, robsue, JSM and anyone else go today!!!
The fish will have forgotten what a hook looks like
Looking at seabreeze, it looks like a damn-awful day out on the bay today
we were drifting 1-5mph, even with paranchor out, whiting were scarce, only ended up with 40
plenty of pest little reefies, caught 1 reefie then wham, ended up hooking a spottie with reefie in his mouth, but it only went 55cm.....
around 9am the wind dropped but whiting didn't come on the bite, we didn't see much action on other boats, all moving around trying to find them
Well guys our prayers were answered anyone get out on Saturday
Went out through South Passage and had a great day
Could of done a bit better in the box but at least my deckie put a few in there lol
