    So close to shore during the day yet tragedy strikes...

    the only way i can see her drowning is stupid cast net wrap her in the tinnie and went down with it otherwise any1 could swim out of it, unless she was knock out when it cap size assuming when the tinnie capsize it threw the other passenger off the boat

    those floating cast net are used often in the far north in river way or canal to trap rubbish unless they were refer to some left over drag net

    but yes our condolences for there loss

    My best mate's brother lives on a yacht there at Colmslie, He heard these two up and down the river all morning and suspected they were drinking heavily. Once they capsized he was first on scene, he managed to pull the male out from under the boat, she was just out of reach. The boat was then quickly towed to the bank by another passer by where it was promptly righted. She was dragged out and he performed CPR on her until the ambo's arrived. She couldn't be revived.
