    Lower hinchinbrook channel

I have been checking out this region on google maps and reading the numerous Ausfish posts for this location.

I notice on google maps there is a creek linking the Seymour and Herbert river systems and am wondering if you can access the lower channel from Halifax via this creek and the Seymour. I have a 4.4 mt Sea Jay Territory.
Any advice would be appreciated regarding tides ,alternatives ect

just took a look on google maps myself......im guessing your talking about the one up stream from the halifax bridge?......if thats the case i highly doubt it as it looks like its lined with exposed sandy banks......I was up there back in early december and around fairly large tides and we found that we couldn't get back via the creek linking Herbert to the lucinda ramp and by the looks the one your talking about is smaller and shallower

whatever your looking at, take the chart map from your GPS/Sounder, plugin to usb port browers the maps and it'll tell u depth of normal tide, it better then google then you'll know if u can get into it
