Re: The Mini Fat Lap.. April to June 2016

Lakeside caravan park at Kunna's is a great set up close to everything and on Lake Kunna's I spent a week over new years there and it's a top spot with powered sites right through to very well equipped cabins at a good price....we did the dam to dam run which is a must and easy access to the upper Ord from there certainly dial that area in for atleast a week mate you will love it
Confidence.......the feeling you get before you fully understand the situation.

Sorry Mike, The trusted Alveys have not been invited on this trip. FYI.. The Sedona 1000f , BTR 4500 and the 850SSV LL will be making their presence felt though

I have completed the tackle kit... well almost.... just need to sort some SP's, and you know I am afraid of the dark side, but I am told they work well.

Crab pots, Red Claw traps etc all sorted, as is the cooker

How much clearance have you got between the back of the solar panel and roof basket on the canopy?

What size batteries are you running in the back and what size fridge? I've got a 60l and 40l Engel in the back of my canopy with a 100ah and a 90ah powering them, the lights and the water pump on the water tank. I've got a 120watt solar panel to charge both batteries and I'm curious to see how much power you draw and how much the panel puts back in for you?

Quote.........How much clearance have you got between the back of the solar panel and roof basket on the canopy? About 50 mm

I have dual 120ah batteries. The solar panel is 250Watt. The panel puts in shitloads and I draw bugger all... sorry, that's the best I can do. I am not a leckie The gauges do tell me

The panel will even trickle in power under the fluro lights in the garage...... OH I have a 60l Weaco

Re: The Mini Fat Lap.. April to June 2016

With about 11 days until I hit the bitumen I am getting a tad excited.

The mods to the vehicle have been done and most bits and pieces sorted. Last thing I did was cut and store a piece of Shade Cloth for those grassed up road areas.

I will also carry a big ass box on the roof rack for timber. Seems we are not allowed to cut wood inside the National Parks so the chainsaw will get a workout, prior to entering these parts.

Thanks all who sent my info on various places.

I will be using my Facebook page to keep my friends in the loop and hopefully, if I have enough service, I can log into AF as well .
