    Shiner Hooks 4 Whiting

    Hi All

    Got sick of whiting swallowing hooks (#6 long shank) in the surf, it has been suggested I try #6 Gamagatsu Shiner.

    Has anyone here had any experience with them?

    Hey castlemaine,

    I used them for the winter whiting last year and they worked well.

    Just don't strike straight away, little them nibble for a fraction longer then what you would with long shanks.
