Be aware a large spanish mackerel caught off Caloundra this week had this toxin present and made some people extremely sick with the usual vomiting & odd tingling hot/cold reversal symptoms.

How large are we talking?

For me having never had and hearing the stories never wanting to have, I've read everything I can find on it and, location really isn't an indicator. Though they seem to get a lot around Hervey Bay. For me I won't take Spanish that are really big. Bigger they are the more time they have had to accumulate the toxin.
