HOPING TO HEAD DOWN THERE BEGINNING FEBRUARY.

FROM WHAT I CAN FIND U CAN ONLY LAUNCH OF BEACH.

CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY INFO ABOUT FISHING THE AREA AND HOW FAR OUT DO U HAVE TO GO.

I ONLY GOT A 4.20 m quinny renegade with 50 hp 4 stroke.

Yes you can launch off the beach at the lagoon or there is a ramp at Wooli.
The Wooli bar entrance is quite dangerous on an out going tide due to the amount of water that channels out of the river.
Take a drive down to Wooli and head as far south you can and you can take a look.
Due to size of boat, the beach launch is probably best option.
I have a few relatives that live down there and launch from the beach at the lagoon without a problem in small tinnies.
They head out about up to 15kms and catch snapper, trag jew & odd pelagic.

Also watch the big slow chooks ( Emus ) on the road as you come into town
We head down there on average once a year.
Great little town.

Some bommies & contour lines not far out you could try according the previous zoning chart just posted..
They are close to the sanctuary zones so you'll need to be weary of that.

And the road into digger's ramp is dirt so keep the flash fishing gear in the car until you get there. If you are thinking about crossing the bar, have a chat to stan at the dive shop about current conditions. And don't tell any bastard about this place.

Should be a few spot ties starting to show soon down there. As Moejoes said the lagoon launch is quite easy. A 4wd is probably the go. The bar can be tricky but compared to the SPB it's a diddle. Only short distance, a quick sprint. Have a mate that lives down that way and regularly crosses the bar in a 14footer. Beautiful place. Enjoy.
