The girls at work surprised me with a Baitrunner 2500 as a Chrissy present, I've not spent a lot of time fishing the river and river mouth lately but i reckon this would be a great reel to get back into it. I'm looking for a relatively fast action rod with a bit of extra length for longer casts, say between 6'6 and 7'6, something with a sensitive tip and primarily used for flat head, bream and whiting from time to time. not looking to spend much over the $150 mark.
Whats are your thoughts?

Thanks for the suggestions, Samaki looked good on the internet but couldn't track any down in the shops, i'll keep an eye out for the future. I settled on a Shimano sahara 7'0 in the end. I'm really surprised by how effective and sensitive the combo is, more bream in the past two days then the last 4 or 5 trips with my old asx/catana combo.
