high speed/high temp effects on drag pressure
check out what happens to a penn 112h with greased carbon fiber drag washers as it heats up. this is an extreme situation that you would never see on the water. the drag pressure dropped from 8 pounds down to 5 pounds as the reel heated up. after the video, i tossed it into the freezer, cooled it down and the drag pressure went back up to 7.5 pounds. here is the video.
