    First "snowflake" wrap

    Hi guys,

This is my first snowflake wrap and im quite pleased with how it turned out. It took me just two attempts to get it right. I left the wrap open cause i like the look. What do you think? Any tips or advice..will take criticism on the chin. 😜

Looking good. I can even do these wraps, I need someone to physically show me how.

    Nice work!
I know sweet FA about cross wraps but all the points look straight and its tight.
    I'd probably close it.
    Cheers,

They're heavier but grip when wet is outstanding, So they have their place.

Great looking snowflake! This brings back lots of memories for me as I did one in the same colours on a rod many years ago and it helped me get into thread art. Well done.
I like the open look as it adds to the effect IMO.

I haven't visited this site for a long time as well. I would be happy to help people who are looking to get into thread art. We've run some rod building weekends over the years which have been fun. There is nothing like seeing somebody else do something to shorten the learning curve and pick up tips and tricks. Drop me a line if anyone is interested.

    Cheers
    Dave
