We were up there at the start of September. Headed out to North Gardeners and fished the shallows (20-30m) we picked up good red throat but the current was raging and we couldn't hold anchor even with the bowmount going flat out. I'll see if I've got a few marks from where we caught fish and let you know.
Thanks for that, we are on the count down now before we hit the sand, we r taking my 5.5 plate alloy n a mates 5.3 quintrex so hope we can get a few fish
..........
Wind played havoc that week and only got out for two half days, sharks are bloody thick out there and any decent fish we hooked got shanked straight away at every spot we tried
