    School holiday fishing

Two trips down the pin and one to Mud Island. Flathead were caught on a combination of baits and plastics, snapper were on bait.

Best trip was with my son on Tuesday last week. He caught his biggest fish so far, and we caught about 30 fish all up between us, bream and flathead. He actually outfished me for numbers, but I got him for size.

"The underlying spirit of angling is that the skill of the angler is pitted against the instinct and strength of the fish and the latter is entitled to an even chance for it's life."
