    Hema Maps app and things

Here's a question for the tech peeps.

I have a Polaris PID1624R headunit in the Collie.

I want Topographic maps for some off road stuff next year. Hema do these as an " app for $49.99 ".

Polaris want to charge me $299... they need my original micro SD card to download the maps to.

So my question is " Can I purchase the Hema app, download it to my PC and then upload to my original micro SD card, which will then work on the Polaris headunit ? "

    any help appreciated

Purely depends on what file format the Hema stuff is in and what the polaris wants to use. There are so many different map formats. There is conversion software around - some is free, some isn't and typically no software handles every chart type. Do you have a micro sd adaptor for your computer? I would do a few google searches to see if you can find out the formats first and then if you can't, read the sd card and have a look for yourself.
