Met Honda & Gareth at the BP Burpengary this morning heading up.
Made me depressed knowing I was on my way to work....
Good luck all....
Catch heaps
hey some great shots on the marlin, well done
Some nice pics there Phill. Hope the vis is that good when I get down there on Wed 16th cos that's great for spearing, although you can keep that tiger to yourself
Hey Almako, looks like you had some great weather and got a nice feed. I bet you didn't keep that marlin for very long on 30lb?
Hey Paramaster72 about 10 minutes as the video being taken was about that long, it wasn't until we got it within metres of the boat that it jumped and spat the hook. The hook nearly cleaned up my mate filming it on his phone. Got the rig back in one piece and was't damaged, but I don't know how..

The end of next week is looking good for a trip up there. Hmmm if I attach everything back on the boat that got smashed off the other week off di, find a decky and get a leave pass I mite be right for a few days holidays up that way.
Although the wind drops out on Tuesday / Wednesday I'm guessing the wind chop makes for pretty crap boating up there in a smaller boat?
so over the next few day's is there a ausfish working bee (the weathers crap)with shovels doing some dredging and chasing flattys or saving your arms for fluid replenishment on those lay days
happy days ahead summer is coming
