Fraser offshore tips

Hi all, heading to Fraser on Friday for a week with the boat. Staying at Orchid Beach and hoping to get out a few days. Looking for general directions or suggestions not specific marks. Happy to head out up to 15k or so if the weather is good and have a decent sounder so I'm happy to scout around for structure and fish just wondering which direction to head in.

Heaps of ground up there mate no matter which direction you head in!

Round the front of waddy and Indian head are great places to start looking, only a km or so from the beach and just keep going out to the shelf if that way inclined!

ene from the gutter 8 mile puts you on the north gardners
se 13 mile south gardners
gravel 3 mile out front of waddy/indian

As per most places the further you get from the ramp the better the fishing.

Go to the high peaky hard ground 25 to 35m for RT and Tuskies, the edges of this as it gets flatter 40 to 50 for the main game.
