Sea currents

Hi all posting this thread from iPhone so may be a bit all over the place but wish to ask is there an app or something out there that will give me info on sea currents out wide so when I decide to chase the deep water fish of 200 meters I don't waste my time travelling all that way only to have the current to strong.

I will say, though, that I'd only use this as a guide. It's impossible (for me at least) to predict them. End of the day, just got to get out, try, and move on and try other areas until you find some slack (if at all).
