hussey creek 9/8/15

Hey folks, a mate and I fished the mouth of Hussey creek this morning. hoursits the first time we've been around this area and it looked pretty good.

I started flicking a zman curly tail in pumpkin on a 1/4 tt jig head at the port channel marker just south of the mouth and the First flattie in the boat after 15mins. Fished for about 41/2 hours for 20 flathead landed, many more missed. And a 28cm bream.

The standout fish was a 37cm squire caught in 1.2m of water by my mate on a prawn imitation (not sure of the type).

If all the flathead caught, 3 were legal and the rest were 37-39.8cm.

Another guy close by caught 2 bigger models so they are around.
Was a great day out and plenty of fish to keep us busy.
