How are the new motors performing??

Went out for another fish Saturday with four on board. First lines in the water at about 8.00am and steadily put a mixture of fish in the box until about 11.00 when things shut down for the next 3 or 4 hours. We covered lots of ground and fish several good shows in 70-110m but only picked up a few fish over this period. This did coincide with the time of the 4 earthquakes of Fraser island so maybe they had some effect or maybe just that time of day that is always harder fishing. We fished through until 9.00pm adding to the box all the time with a nice mixture of fish. No real stand out fish and only took a couple of photos for Mat and forgot when we split the fish up back at the ramp. Snapper, Trag, Pearlies, Tomato Cod, Tuskies, Wrasse, Moses, Rosy Jobfish and Hussar made up our catch and another great day on the water. Conditions glassy all day and very little to no current until we wanted to anchor on a spot late in the afternoon for some better snapper and of coarse we found the one spot that had a bit to much run for our liking.
Cheers Gav

Motors are fine but I think we need to test some other props as we can't get much trim out of these ones. Makes it very load sensitive when you can't trim it to suit and in a rear quarter sea the nose needs more lift. You would have been in heaven with plenty of Hussar coming over the side.
Good to see you've been getting out mate..& bringing home a great feed for yourself & crew.
