Here at redcliffe Scarborough area is pretty good. Jetties or rocks , as long as the water is calm
Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.

Most jetties/rock walls protruding into the bay will hold squid, usually at night under the lights are the best places to try..

The light attracts baitfish, which in turn attracts predators (squid).

Also weed beds that can be accessed from shore, wading whilst casting and retrieving will account for a few too during the day also..

Plenty of places to try around Redcliffe, Shorncliffe (though replacement pier is still under construction), Manly, Victoria point etc

    Good luck
